2016 Autism Run & Walk for Autism Acceptance

Autism Behavioral Services is proud to have been the Registration Pavilion Sponsor for HMEA’s Autism Resource Central 2016 Autism Run/Walk 5K For Autism Acceptance. Thank you to our families, staff, volunteers, and friends for making this years walk one to remember! ABS visits the Worcester EcoTarium

Autism Behavioral Services’ social skills group recently visited the Worcester EcoTarium where the group was able to take turns, wait in approved areas, and follow directions while learning new facts, having fun, and socializing!

Tri-State Speedway Community Outing

ABS’ Community Based Program visits the Tri-State Speedway, where we worked on independent and collaborative play skills, turn taking, and staying near by adults, while driving go-karts, playing mini-golf, and playing at the arcade.

Hop N Jump Community Outing

ABS’ Community Based Program visits Hop N Jump, where the kids worked on independent and collaborative play skills, turn taking, and staying by an adult while and had a fun time jumping while enjoying the sensory input from jumping.

ABS visits Worcester EcoTarium

ABS’ ABC group recently visited the Worcester EcoTarium to see the animals, play games, and experience a wind tunnel while following directions and socializing with each other.

ABS visits Worcester Fire Station

ABS’ ABC group recently visited the Worcester fire station to learn about safety, what to do if they see smoke, who they should tell, and other safety tips while following directions and socializing with the fireman and each other.

ABS visits Greendale YMCA

ABS’ ABC group recently visited the Greendale YMCA, where the kids got to play in a bouncy house and learned to swim while working on their motor skills, coordination, and staying close to adults!
