Special thanks to Massachusetts State Senator Harriette Chandler for inviting ABS’ Leaders in Training (LIT) to Boston for a tour of the Massachusetts State House. We walked through the beautiful, marbled Great Hall, spent time in the Senate Chamber, and sat down in Senator Chandler’s office for a Q&A session.
ABS’ Community Based Services recently visited AMF Auburn Lanes for a fun afternoon of bowling while practicing taking turns, following directions, fine and gross motor skills, and socializing with one another.
ABS’ Girls Group recently visited Dean Park in Shrewsbury, MA where they enjoyed the playground, a nature walk scavenger hunt, and participated in parachute play exercises while practicing taking turns, following directions, and fine and gross motor skills. They engaged in all these behaviors while socializing with one another and having an amazing time.
While on April vacation, Autism Behavioral Services’ Social Skills Groups participated in various indoor and outdoor activities such as puzzles, games, basketball, go-karts, and capture the flag while practicing taking turns, following directions, and fine and gross motor skills, all while socializing and having fun.
Autism Behavioral Services visits Dave & Buster’s where our social skills groups worked on fine and gross motor skills, interactive play, turn taking, and more while socializing and having fun in a stimulating sensory environment.
ABS’ Applied Behavioral Care (ABC) group at our center in North Grafton, MA, playing with toys, solving puzzles, playing basketball, and playing on the jungle gym, all while practicing taking turns, following directions, and socializing with each other.
