Autism Behavioral Services’ ADAPT (Acclimation Development Activity Program for Teens) is designed for adolescents who may be meeting or exceeding their academic goals, but struggle with daily social interactions and adaptive living skills.
ADAPT provides an environment where teens feel safe expressing themselves, seeking help, and making friends. Our innovative social interactions focus on advanced relationships, conversations, friendships, as well as adaptive living skills such as maintaining a home, money management, and vocational training.
Each ADAPT group is designed to meet the needs of each participant while providing a space where it is OK for kids to be themselves.
Once your loved one has learned the advanced skills in ADAPT they will continue on to more advanced programs such as LIT (Leaders in Training), geared at assisting individuals in reaching their highest level of independence.
